LOCKDOWN PUB - JAN 2021

This is a fully modelled 3D scene!

When the third lockdown was announced in the England, I was initially upset (but I knew that it was inevitable and that it was necessary) but then I thought about how unique this time is that we are living in. As frustrating as it is, we are living in a moment of history that children in generations to come will be taught about.

I wanted to capture part of this moment and thought the best way to do this is through modelling. I also wanted to do some more modelling work as although I got taught it on my course, I didn't fully focus on it and appreciate the skills I had learned until the end of my course. Therefore, I wanted to do some modelling work to test make sure I was still testing myself by modelling things I had never done before.

I wanted to capture the 'Eat Out to Help Out' scheme and the controversial impact of it. Therefore I wanted to make the pub have a slightly eerie empty feeling yet still show some of the iconic objects that have become part of everyday life: a discarded disposable mask, social distancing and health and safety posters.
